This week, hundreds of women are gathering out bush to participate in our women’s only Law and Culture meeting. The annual meeting ensures the maintenance of women's law and ancient ceremonial cycles. It makes sure that young women gain a deep understanding of their culture that can be passed on for generations to come. ... See MoreSee Less

Tanya we need NPY Women's Council at the table when we speak with government. What we hope government will consider is a community led cultural approach to addressing the kids who have lost their way. 🥰
You are one of the most inspirational women I know who cares for so many people. Sending love to you and your beautiful family. I feel blessed to have met you all and worked with you.
Beautiful people step up when it would be easy to do nothing. Bless you and family.

😭😭😭Trying new ways to cut onions without crying. NPYWC Nutrition team, always innovating! ... See MoreSee Less
My work safety glasses work so good for me. I’m done crying when cutting onions 🧅
Place a glass of water or wet paper towel near the onions when your cutting them, the acidity from the onions gravitates towards the water 👌🏼 or light a match before you cut them, the sulfur disables whatever it is that makes your eyes water 😎 worst job 😭
Great idea I will try. If I’m wearing my contact lenses I have no difficulty chopping onions. When I’m not wearing them I will follow this advice.
It may look odd, but it would be effective and also provide some short term oxygen that isn't filled with onion fumes - just remember to take off every 30-60 seconds for fresh air, that carbon monoxide from exhaling is not good aye!
I love this! Great ideas, gotta try it.
Deadly 😂👍❤️ love your style ♥️🤜🤛🌹
Giving the chopping board and knife to the wife works best :)
.... you are a total crack up... ❤️❤️❤️
I breathe through my mouth and works every time
Breathe in through your mouth and out through your nose Works for me
I Love It :)
Contact lenses are the go, coming from someone who cuts 10kg at a time every other month
So funny - I keep mine in the fridge too and not a tear since
This is pure gold. Love it. x
Cut them under water in the sink.
This is classic I love it
Did it work …some say if you leave peeled onion soak in cold water for a while …not so stinging and teary for the eyes
Aye that’s how!
The trick is to start crying. Then run your wrists under cold tap water for 40 sec then you can go back to cutting without a problem
The best photo
Love this innovation. I'll use it!
Whatever works for you
Put onion in freezer 4 hrs stop juice in eyes
