Walytja Wiru T-Shirt
In communities across the NPY Lands, we asked: What do strong families look like to you?
The answers sit at the heart of Walytja Wiru, a community-led project developed through NPY Women’s Council’s Walytjapiti program alongside Chairperson Margaret Smith and community members. It is a project that is grounded in Anangu knowledge and leadership and highlights the vital role community plays in raising children who are safe, strong, and supported.
These themes have been brought to life through a beautiful print designed by Anangu artist Oumoula McKenzie, on a classic and comfortable black t-shirt. Please note, tjitji tjuta (kids) are pictured in the product images, but these sizes are for adults!
Each item Walytja Wiru merchandise sold will go towards supporting Anangu families with items such as blankets, food and power cards.

Shipping & Delivery
Domestic Freight
NPY Women’s Council dispatches all domestic online orders via Australia Post.
Due to our remote location in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), Northern Territory, freight to regional and remote areas can be costly, particularly with rising courier rates. Our online shipping calculator is updated regularly to reflect current carrier pricing, however it may not always capture every variation in delivery costs across Australia.
If your order incurs a significantly higher charge than the amount paid at checkout, we’ll contact you to confirm the difference. You can then choose whether to proceed, and we’ll arrange any additional payment directly.
International Freight
We currently do not offer international shipping.
