WHO WE ARE

Janet Forbes

Director

Janet is an active member in her community of Blackstone and is a strong advocate for families and for children. She was a director of Desart, an Aboriginal peak arts body for art centres in the desert region in central Australia.  Janet is a respected artist and member of Tjanpi Desert Weavers and Papulankutja Artists.

She is currently a member of the advisory council to BHP for the company’s mining activity in the Ngaanyatjarra lands.
