INAWINTJI WILLIAMSON “we are at the old Pukatja (Ernabella) store on a Saturday. We would get potato and onion and then go to Alalka or swim in the water tank.. We might get kulypurpa (wild gooseberry) along the way, a bush food, an old food that was good for us.” This picture is from1958, taken by Nancy Shepherd. Story told to NPYWC Women’s Council Child Nutrition team who work with families to support children’s growth and development in the NPY Lands.
