Many Anangu needs are ignored in NDIS plans over what is considered “best” for them by planners. One non-literate twenty-year-old young woman with vision impairment, hearing impairment, an intellectual disability and mental health issues was given the NDIS goal of starting a small business. The young woman requires support and supervision to complete daily self-care and domestic tasks.

I thought I could navigate NDIS for my adult son, worked in the industry, done Carer advocacy work, so many people out there supposed to be helping, Im always thinking that if this is hard for me then it must be really hard for so many, my nieces say, we won't get it because they will think we cant look after our selves or our children and family, these things need a voice, good you are speaking up.Please consider sharing your posts to the NDIS grassroots discussion group here on Facebook , lots of different people on there including some with political influence and good intentions. I share your posts when I can and suggest they speak with your service to learn good practice 🤎NPY Women's Council

I hope the young lady receives the correct care she needs. Such a shame that she is missing out because of stupid policies implemented that don’t cater specifically to the individual. All the best 💜

Important work! Great job as always, NPYWC!

Write a training package for NDIS and charge them for it! Advocacy is long and exhausting and advocates get exploited because we’re passionate about much needed change, but training is important and there’s always a training budget!

Just shocking.

Bloody shame job hey 🖤💛❤️🥵

Brilliant

We are delegated from the United States Intelligence Agency in conjunction with the help of the African Union (AU) United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), and FBI to pay 10 victims of the scam US$4.8Million each. During the course of our investigation, we have been able to recover so much money from these scam artists. The United Nations Anti-Crime Commission and the United States Intelligence community have ordered the money recovered from the Scammers to be shared among 10 Lucky people around the World for compensation.

Awesome xx

Good to see aboriginals embracing white culture and benefiting from it
