Wangka Kutjutu Resource Package

Wangka Kutjutu is a resource developed to support workers and community members across the Ngaanyatjarra, Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Lands to better understand legal processes and respond to common questions.

Anangu may engage with three different legal systems across Western Australia, the Northern Territory, and South Australia. While there are important differences between laws in each jurisdiction, this resource provides a general overview of all three systems. Bringing these together into one shared understanding is the reason for the name Wangka Kutjutu, a Pitjantjatjara phrase meaning “One Voice.”

This resource was developed by NPY Women’s Council’s Domestic and Family Violence Service - also known as the Atunypa Wiru Minyma Uwankaraku (Good Protection for All Women) Team - to create a unified tri-state resource.The resource is available in multiple formats, including a downloadable book, videos, and audio.
