Liza Balmer has a rich understanding of NPYWC and service delivery to the NPY Lands having worked at NPYWC for more than 20 years, ten of those years as Deputy CEO. Liza began her time at NPYWC with her foundation work on the award-winning Child Nutrition Program and has help to lead some of NPYWC’s most significant achievements during her employment.

Liza’s career has included more than 25 years of research, policy and experience in service delivery. She has participated on various boards and committees nationally, and is currently an independent Director on the ANROWS Board. Other commitments have included Chairperson, NT Family and Children Services Advisory Council and member of the inaugural expert panel for the development of the National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children.

Liza holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with a Masters of Public Health.
