Kungka Career Conference: “The best thing about the Conference is … the fact that it exists!”    (Pipalyatjara participant, (2007)

Kungka Career Conferences have been a highlight of NPYWC Youth Team activities since they first began in 1997. At the Conferences 100+ young women from across the NPY region come together with the support of senior women, teachers and youth workers to be inspired, informed, motivated and educated. Kungka Career Conferences give teenage girls living hundreds of kilometres apart an opportunity to learn about education, careers, leadership and life skills from inspirational indigenous women.
