Directors/ governing committee:
– elected arm, responsible for the over-all policy direction of the organisation. The Directors consists of twelve members from the region, including a Chairwoman and Vice-Chairwoman.
– responsible for day to day management of the organisation, support to Directors, dealing with policy issues with and on behalf of Directors, overseeing administration and staffing, recruitment, employment grievances, financial administration.
Deputy CEO:
– the Deputy CEO’s duties include responsibility for the day-to-day management of service delivery programs which includes supervising Program Managers and assisting in the management of NPY Women’s Council’s operations and functions.
Team Managers:
– Youth Manager, Child and Family Wellbeing Manager, Tjungu Team Manager (Aged and Disability), Domestic and Family Violence Service Manager, Tjanpi Manager, Finance Manager, Administration Manager, People and Workplace Services Manager. Team managers are responsible for the support and supervision of programs and staff in their respective areas.
Project officers:
– staff who work in the various program areas carrying out case management, advocacy, providing practical assistance in various areas including domestic violence, child nutrition and protection matters, youth including inhalant abuse. A number of these staff are based out bush. Those who are not so situated are normally expected to spend at least half of their working time in remote member communities.
– Under the supervision of the Admin. Manager the small Admin. team deals with: reception and general administration, staff housing maintenance, Emergency Relief Funding, fleet and satellite phone management, logistics for bush meetings and general repairs and maintenance.
