Amidst the media focus on youth crime...positive youth programs & activities are in danger of being lost. With the imminent closure of 4 remote youth programs in central Australia and the banning of the remote community football league from being played in Alice Springs, remote Aboriginal youth now have even less to look forward to and little support and activities to engage with in their home communities. There needs to be an equal opportunity for all young people to access basic sports and social activities... read more here: www.npywc.org.au/news/amidst-the-media-focus-on-youth-crime-positive-youth-programs-activities-ar... ... Wow country. You're so beautiful
I know how much sport means to communities and am hopeful that you will receive help for sporting interactions to continue.
Lp Hayden
Why aren't the Federal Government and the NT government providing funds to support these programs? These programs are much more important than spending millions of dollars on a Voice which will not do anything to assist remote communities!! Write to Paul Murray on SKY NEWS. πππ€©
Maybe employ the unjabbed in communities, so they can work for you!

Yanyangkari Roma Butlerβ βThis is a hungry wild dingo, out hunting in the bush. He has been out looking for kuka (meat) - he's spotted a rabbit hole and now he's there, waiting for a rabbit to come out. He is sitting very still and alert - his ears are forward, listening out for that rabbit to move; his eyes are wide, and his legs are ready to pounce. Great photos and friendship Eva and Suzanne. π€ Suzanne you were AMAZING to work with and inspirational to talk with. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and strengthening communities and strong connections. π€β£
Continuity of care for children, for youths, for men and for women is such a blessing, lasting friendships are made. My son is 36. His homebirth midwife and I remained close friends until Covid got her last year. I miss her dreadfully. Have a photo of her near my kettle so I can talk to her every day.
Me as a European, I have never ever had such meaningful relationships than with indigenous women, they taught me everything about strength πand I will never be able to recuperate from what I have received in knowledge and wisdom from them
This reminds me of all those beautiful caring indigenous women I had the privilege to know and work with in the Northern Territory. Great times!
What a beautiful photograph of two beautiful women.
That is so beautiful for you both, with sharing hearts.
