Structure

The NPYWC Organisational Structure:

Directors/ governing committee: elected arm, responsible for the over-all policy direction of the organisation. The Directors consists of twelve members from the region, including a Chairwoman and Vice-Chairwoman.

Minyma Director: works alongside Co-ordinator and provides leadership to Anangu staff.  Responsible to Directors. 

Co-ordinator: responsible for day to day management of the organisation, support to Directors, dealing with policy issues with and on behalf of Directors, overseeing administration and staffing, recruitment, employment grievances, financial administration.

Team Managers: Youth Manager, Child Nutrition Manager Tjungu Team Manager (includes all Aged, Disability, ESWB, and Ngangkari workers), Domestic Violence Service Manager, Tjanpi Manager, Finance Manager, Administration Manager.  Team managers are responsible for the support and supervision of programs and staff in their respective areas.

Project officers: staff who work in the various program areas carrying out case management, advocacy, providing practical assistance in various areas including domestic violence, child nutrition and protection matters, youth including inhalant abuse. A number of these staff are based out bush. Those who are not so situated are normally expected to spend at least half of their working time in remote member communities.

Administration: Under the supervision of the Admin. Manager the small Admin. team deals with: reception and general administration, staff housing maintenance, Emergency Relief Funding, fleet and satellite phone management, logistics for bush meetings and general repairs and maintenance.
